hillcraft works toward FSC Certification
In 2008, hillcraft made it our goal to become a FSC Chain of Custody Certified manufacturer. There were several proponents to this decision.
- Our livelihood, both professionally and personally, depends on the continued health and growth of the nation’s forests. They are one of the few truly renewable resources, and should be treated with care.
- We recognize that the construction industry has a reputation for poor environmental awareness. hillcraft’s goal is to do everything we can to reduce the industry’s environmental impact.
- We are proud to participate in LEED certified projects, which frequently require FSC Certification.
How will YOU benefit from hillcraft’s FSC Certification?
- FSC certified products are harvested responsibly from properly managed forests, where community and worker rights are a priority.
