RESPONSIBILITIES:

Warehouse:

Perform general Warehouse duties, including, but not limited to; wrapping, stacking, loading, unloading of cabinets and store fixtures.

Queue loads into staging lanes, pre-checking components against written work order. Communicate missing pieces to appropriate Supervisor, and follow through until load is completely queued.

Load trucks according to established Standard Operating Procedures, to eliminate risk of damage to product. Supervise drivers and production helpers while loading.

Responsibility for load accuracy and completeness rests with this position.

Package UPS and common carrier shipments.

Delivery:

Perform local and regional deliveries with IH 4300 24' straight truck with lift gate and ramp to jobsites, often, but not limited to within a 350 mile radius of Madison.

Run local errands/pick-ups with company vehicles & straight truck as required.

Be conversant with and in compliance with all applicable FMCSA & DOT laws, rules, and regulations at all times.

REQUIREMENTS:   

Must be at least 22 years of age (insurance requirement)                              

(5) years experience making regional deliveries with 24’ straight truck (26,000 GVW)

Clean driving record with no at-fault accidents last (3) years

No 6 point violations in last (5) years (OWI, Driving while suspended, Reckless driving, Leaving the scene of an accident)

Valid DOT Physical

Good familiarity with FMCSR and all applicable traffic safety laws and DOT regulations

(1) year experience supervising and directing others

Able to safely lift and move cabinets averaging 110 lbs, on a repetitive basis, without damage to product

Able to read and understand Product labels and Production Work Orders.

Able to pick and load product by job number and item number.

Strong organizational, problem solving, and communication skills required.

Must be able to work overtime as necessary.
